Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Who provides Cora

Cora is provided by Lumospark LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Lumospark”, “we”, “us”). By using Cora you agree to these terms.

2. What Cora Is

Cora is a curated venue recommendation service for restaurants, bars, and cafes. We provide personalised suggestions based on your taste profile, community reviews, and editorial data. Cora is not a booking platform — we link to venue websites and booking services where available.

3. Your Account

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app, which permanently removes all associated data.

4. User Content

When you submit reviews, a profile photo, or other content, you grant Cora a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content within the service. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time.

Content must be your own, truthful, and not harmful. We may remove content that violates these terms, is defamatory, or is inappropriate for a dining recommendation platform. Reviews and profile details you provide are visible to others — see the Privacy Policy.

5. Community Conduct

Cora includes social features — profiles, following, friend requests, and shared lists. When using them you agree not to:

We may remove content, restrict social features, or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

6. Profile Photos

If you set a profile photo, it must be your own and appropriate. We may remove photos that are not.

7. Accuracy

Venue information (hours, prices, menus, dietary options) comes from multiple sources including Google Places, editorial publications, and community reviews. We make reasonable efforts to keep this accurate but cannot guarantee it. Always confirm details directly with the venue — including anything affecting health, such as allergens and dietary suitability.

8. Recommendations

Cora’s recommendations are algorithmically generated based on your taste profile, community reviews, and editorial data. No venue pays for placement. Recommendations are not endorsements — they reflect what our algorithm thinks you’ll enjoy based on available data.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Cora is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that venue information is accurate, complete, or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumospark LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any decision you make based on the service — including dining experiences, allergic reactions, venue availability, or costs incurred. Our total liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to GBP 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer. If you are a UK or EU consumer, these terms do not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your local law, and you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Lumospark LLC against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your misuse of the service, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach or negligence.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, subject to the mandatory-consumer-rights carve-out in section 10.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Cora after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app.
